LA MOTIVACIÓN EN EL APRENDIZAJE DEL INGLÉS / MOTIVATION IN LEARNING ENGLISH

Los profesores sabemos perfectamente, que donde no hay un alumno con motivación por aprender, hay un futuro fracaso de éxito en el aprendizaje.

El alumno, es el centro del universo a la hora de aprender una lengua. Los profesores que dan clases con explicaciones magistrales, no deberían de existir en la enseñanza de idiomas. Cuanto más callados estemos, más hablarán y participarán los alumnos. Sólo aprenderás una lengua si la practicas, ya sea de forma hablada o escrita. Como hemos repetido en números anteriores, lo importante es la comunicación, no la perfección.

Tienes que motivarte para poder comunicarte.

Lo primero que tenemos que hacer es buscar las causas de la falta de motivación. Una de las principales, es que no se está en el nivel adecuado.

Se tiene que estar convencido de que en realidad se desea mejorar el inglés o aprender, si estás comenzando y de que nadie te ha obligado. Si es así, ya sea por motivos familiares o profesionales, intenta demostrarte a ti mismo y a tu profesor de que estás progresando. Muchas veces, el profesor es el único que puede motivar al alumno a que siga adelante, dándole ánimos e inyectándole una dosis de voluntad y de esfuerzo a diario. Recuerda que tú eres el protagonista y personaje central. El problema empieza cuando uno estudia por su cuenta y sin un profesor presencial semanal o a diario. ¿Quién te inyecta la voluntad? ¿Te automedicas? Pues sí. Siéntete a gusto contigo mismo y siéntete importante porque vas a obtener una cualidad que no todo el mundo tiene: la de comunicarte con más gente de otros países.

As we have said in previous issues, the important thing is communication, not perfection.

The first thing you have to do is look for the causes of lack of motivation. A key is that you are not at the right level.

It has to be convinced that actually wants to improve or learn English, if you are starting and no one forced you. If so, either by family or professional reasons, trying to prove to yourself and to your teacher that you are progressing. Many times, the teacher is the one who can motivate students to continue forward, giving encouragement and injecting a dose of will and effort daily. Remember that you are the protagonist and central character. The problem begins when you study on your own and without a classroom teacher weekly or daily. Who will you inject? Automedicas you? Well, yes. Feel at ease with yourself and feel important because you will get a quality that not everyone has: the more you communicate with people from other countries.
